Hi, I'm Annelise and my mission is to build a bridge between Europe and Costa Rica with a very important export product from my native country, coffee beans.

Costa Rica has the largest coffee plantation density in the world. But the farmers who grow the coffee are often abused. They are often unable to export themselves and receive a very price for their produce from the major importers. In order to generate sales, farmers are forced to accept that. I would like to correct that injustice.

Our coffee is imported via 'direct trade', so without middlemen. This means that the farmer gets a really fair price and the money earned from coffee is distributed better along the chain. The highest quality coffee, freshly roasted for you in Megen.
